"The Italian Lifestyle Panda Award" to Progetto CMR

On Saturday June 9th, the Annual Italian Grand Gala – Panda d’Oro Award 2018 was hosted in Shanghai.


“The Italian Lifestyle Panda Award”, which awards the Italian Company which implemented the most effective strategy to promote the Italian way of life in China, has been awarded to Progetto CMR for Changbaishan Manjiangwan project. It is the first “Slow City” newly built village in China, developed by Purple Jade Group and designed by Progetto CMR taking in consideration of Cittaslow International Association’s requirements.


Under the witness of Italian Institution officials, Mr. Davide Cucino, Chairman of China Italy Chamber of Commerce, representatives of Italian companies in China and invited guests, Mr. Li Yiyang, Deputy Director of Administration Committee of Changbai Mountain & Reserve Development Zone, Ms. Kong Lam, Director of Purple Jade Group and Mr. Massimo Bagnasco, Managing Partner of Progetto CMR, jointly received the award.


“Manjiangwan is the result of a close and synergic cooperation among all the stakeholders. Progetto CMR’s concept could never become reality without the open and innovative approach of Purple Jade, through the personal contribution of Ms Lam, as well as the fully cooperative support by Changbaishan authorities!” Massimo Bagnasco said receiving the Award.


The Italian Panda d’Oro Award reached its 9th edition. It is successfully organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Fondazione Italia – Cina, since the first edition sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Embassy of Italy in China, with the purpose of awarding the Italian companies realizing the best performances in China.
