Massimo Bagnasco confirmed as State’s Representative at Executive Committee of European Union Chamber of Commerce in China

Progetto CMR is pleased to announce that Mr. Massimo Bagnasco was confirmed as State’s Representative at Executive Committee of European Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC).

EUCCC was founded in 2000 by 51 European Union companies operating in China. It is recognized by the European Commission and the Chinese Authorities as the official voice of European business in China. The Chamber now has more than 1,600 members in 7 chapters operating in 9 cities. Each chapter is managed at the local level by local boards reporting directly to the Executive Committee.

Massimo Bagnasco is an architect specialized in urban planning design, operating in China since 2004.

He is Managing Director and Partner of Progetto CMR (Beijing), one of the largest Italian integrated design firms, ranked in the world’s Top 100 architectural firms.

Mr. Bagnasco has been actively involved in the EUCCC for 10 years, alternatively covering the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Construction Working Group. More recently he has been involved also in the EU SME sector. Since 2014, he became Member of the Chamber Executive Committee.

Moreover, Mr. Bagnasco has joined preparation, implementation and development activities related to the EU-China Partnership on Urbanization. He is also member of the experts Taskforce, in charge of urbanization, for the EU-China Innovation Cooperation Dialogue framework, promoted by DG-RTD and MoST. He was serving, as expert, in several cooperation projects, among the others: EU – China Urbanization Leadership Programme; UrbaChina; EU-China Smart City Project.
