Massimo Bagnasco at 2016 China Green Companies Summit

On April 22nd 2016, Italian officials and entrepreneurs  exchanged ideas about “The Italian Advantage: Tradition, Technology, Sustainability” at the China-Italy Business Forum, which was held during the Annual Summit of China Green Companies in Jinan, capital of east China’s Shandong Province.

Massimo Bagnasco, Managing Partner at Progetto CMR and Executive Committee Member at EUCCC, was invited to share his thoughts on the Italian experience and China’s urbanization trend. China is now entering a new phase led by the central policy to achieve a more sustainable growth, with the focus being shifted from quantity to quality. Mr. Bagnasco pointed out that the quality-centered development has constantly been the cornerstone of the Italian history and experience, based on a strong know-how in integrating urban-rural development, as well as tackling environmental issues through sustainable and innovative solutions.

Mr. Bagnasco also attended other sessions and the official dinner of the summit, discussed the hot issues in industry development with leading Chinese companies.

Established in 2008, the China Green Companies Summit is China’s premier business leader forum, organized every year by the China Entrepreneur Club. The annual summit has been widely recognized as the pinnacle private sector business forum in China, dedicated to business excellence and sustainable growth.

The Italian delegation is led by Marco Simoni, special envoy and economic adviser of the Italian prime minister.
