Massimo Bagnasco at the “Forum on Sino-Italian Urbanization Cooperation” in Chongqing

Urban development is one of the most important topics that have featured Chinese political agenda. The huge challenges, as well as rich opportunities, it brings are undeniable and it is fundamental to find the most proper ways to face a process that has no precedent in history, in order to maximize the benefits it can generate.
This and other key aspects were touched upon by Arch. Massimo Bagnasco, Managing Director of Progetto CMR, in his speech at the “Forum on Sino-Italian urbanization cooperation”, held on November 18th, in Chongqing and organized by the Italian Consulate in Chongqing, together with the Bozhong Institute.
He gave the presentation of “Sino-Italian Urbanization Cooperation Framework”, a comprehensive plan promoted by the Italian Embassy in China to strengthen the cooperation between Italian and Chinese Institution, Universities and Industries in the field of sustainable urbanization.
Then Mr Bagnasco introduced to the audience one cooperation proposal, developed by Progetto CMR: a new concept for retirement and families residential complex. The innovative idea behind the project is to create a human scale village, tailored on the needs of retired people who would like to live in residential complexes that are provided with all the services they may need, from medical services to social and recreational facilities for the health of body and mind. At the same time, the village will be a destination for families, who will spend more time, along holidays or just the weekend, with their relatives in a pleasant and sustainable environment.
