Generator Venice: a jewel of Hospitality Design

Generator Venice was awarded in New York during the 10th Annual Hospitality Design Award, the ceremony by HD Magazine that every year rewards the best and more creative projects of this field. The awarding ceremony was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York.

Generator Hostel is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Venice, facing Giudecca Canal and San Marco square, and its warm and eclectic design reminds the distinguishing features of the Generator Hostels chain, meeting the needs of its young and international customers.

The three-floor building, dating back to 1800, was originally used as a barn, and in the 1920’s it was converted into a hotel. The design of the Generator Hostel cleverly mixes the industrial features of the building with more contemporary and charming details: wood and steel, tiles and stone, mirrors and colorful carpets all make all give the old furniture a funny and modern touch.

Progetto CMR closely supervised the executive phases of the project, assuring that the final result could be able to meet the highest possible standards in terms of both aesthetic and technical features.
